I am a leader in Software Development, Agile Coach, Nonprofit Leader in Training, and Workforce Development advocate. I am also the author of two acclaimed books on Agile: “Understanding The Agile Manifesto: A Brief & Bold Guide to Agile” and “Managers From Hell, The PMO is Dead and Other Agile Stories.” Through my extensive speaking engagements and recognized expertise in the Agile community, I have shared insights and inspirations with diverse audiences.

As a Principal Agile Coach at T-Mobile, I drive innovation and foster a data-driven culture to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable operations of a clean energy network. I have successfully implemented Agile mental models, introduced continuous planning methodologies, and collaborated with various stakeholders to enhance engagement and satisfaction.

At The Job Hackers, I was the visionary Founder and Chief Agile Officer, leading a highly successful training and workforce development program. Through innovative curriculum development and strategic partnerships, we have provided over $5,000,000 worth of free Agile training, achieved remarkable diversity, and facilitated job placements for program participants.

During my tenure at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, I played a pivotal role in promoting a data-driven mindset and implementing Agile practices across the organization. By championing continuous planning, fostering collaboration, and working closely with ERGs and HR, I contributed to the company’s successful Agile transformation.

As the first full-time Agile Coach at Splunk, I trained and coached Agile teams, driving improvements in software development quality, time-to-market, and employee engagement. I introduced company-wide initiatives, such as Relentless Learning, Scrum Master Campfire, and Product Owner Campfire, while assisting Splunk’s transition to cloud-based software delivery.

At Omnicell, I created and implemented a continuous learning program, enabling teams to stay updated on Agile software development practices. By advising at all levels of the organization, introducing innovative value delivery strategies, and training the Agile MBA program, I contributed to increased net profit and enhanced product development.
